Master's Message
Brethren:

I was recently giving some thought as to why Masonry has recently become so
popular and why it has been depicted in the movies and received so much public
notoriety.  The answer to that question may be multi-faceted, however it is certain
that people seem to be finding within Masonry those who welcome brotherhood
and value the tenants of tradition, morality, self-improvement, fraternity,
fellowship, brotherly love, charity and leadership. Masons strive for self
enrichment. This tradition is unparalleled by any other organization as our ritual is
second to none and our charitable work is well recognized.

Our morality reaches back to the founding fathers of this country! Men
representing all faiths have been welcomed into our fraternity as long as they
believe in a Supreme Being.  Brotherly love, relief and truth are the cornerstones
of our fraternity. Masons give freely of themselves and ask nothing in return. As a
philanthropic organization, we donate two million dollars daily to better the lives
of others.  The satisfaction that comes with all of this is immeasurable.

Masons come from all walks of life.  What better way to widen your circle of
friends than to become part of this fraternity?  No matter where life brings you,
here or abroad, you will find a brother to help you. Charity is one of our most
visible activities which includes, but is not limited to, the annual scholarships and
the donations to the children’s hospitals. We offer members leadership
opportunities at the lodge, district and grand lodge levels. Within the Masonic
teachings, some masons discover internal attributes that they never realized they
possessed. With the help of their mentors and fellow brothers, masons learn to
acknowledge their strengths and unlock their full potential.

Fraternally,
